2016 LS2 Collage

This is a collage that Zahra, Zeba and I made showcasing our year at Panmure Bridge School. This reflection is based around LS2's 2016 learning journey. This collage has LS2 students receiving care awards, the Tahuna Torea trip, and working collaboratively. 

Tahuna Torea Visit

This is a Prezi that Zahra, Zeba and I made. This is everything we learned at Tahuna Torea. We went to Tahuna Torea to try to find some Godwits returning from their migration flight, but unfortunately we didn't, but we still saw many other things like, different birds, guano and learning about their habitat. 

Hundertwasser Research

Childhood/Birth	He was born on December 15 1928 Hundertwasser’s dad died when he was 1 in 1929 Hundertwasser was a child while WW2 was happening.
From	Hundertwasser is from Vienna, Austria
Art (3)	He doesn’t like straight lines He likes bold colours He has a creative mind Hundertwasser made a public toilet in New Zealand near Kawaka. Hundertwasser made the Koru flag of New Zealand in 1983.
NZ	He was buried in New Zealand, while at sea.
Died	Hundertwasser died on February 19, 2000 at the Pacific ocean who then was buried in New Zealand under a tulip tree.

This is our research on the famous artist Hundertwasser. Me and Zeba researched his childhood/birth, where he is from, 3 pieces of art and 3 facts, his connection to NZ and his death and where he died. 

Main Idea - Wright Brothers

Today we were learnt four structures that are in a text. These are scaffold text, complimentary text, challenge text and self selected text. We read about the wright brothers using the scaffold of the four structures. The scaffold is the structure which you build up your knowledge with facts etc. We then made a DLO about the main idea about the text using the facts. 

Fractions/Decimals Game

This week we were practicing our number knowledge for our IKAN test. We had to play some games which fits our level, I had to learn more about decimals and fractions. In this game, me (player 1) and Zeba (player 2) played. We had 6 questions each and if we put the incorrect answer in, our points decreased. I really improved on fractions but I think I need to practice more. 

River Safety

 

 This is my DLO about rivers. I had to note take this after note taking I had to write some sentences about river safety with the notes. I worked with Zeba. 

Commas DLO

This is a collaborative DLO created by Charlize, Mahdia, Zahra,Zeba, Sajiha and I. This explain what commas are used for and why it is important. This activity is part of our learning subject SPaG so that we know how to use it and why it is important. 

Using T.O.P.E.S to write a narrative plan

This week for writing we made a plan of our story. I worked collaboratively with Zeba to make the plan. We used the structure T.O.P.E.S, we had a picture as our porpmt and we had to write. Our L.I was to write a plan for a narrative story.

everyone voted for Neptune the coldest planet, I also noticed she forgot some planets.
