  1. Dear Nazella,

Thank you so much for posting this slideshow on ratios. Some of the problems were very difficult! I had to really think about them. It's great to be challenged, though, and I'm so glad that you're using your blogspot to post such interesting slideshows.

I would love it if you were interested in also using your blogspot to post responses to the activities that are part of the Summer Learning Journey programme. I am currently online every day blogging with students from Panmure Bridge School who have registered for the programme. It's been great to read their posts and to chat back and forth.

Would you be interested in joining us as well? The programme is quite simple and involves completing activities that will teach you about the people, culture, customs, traditions, food and languages of those living in Chile, Canada, Germany, Malaysia and England.

To join, please log onto the Summer Learning Journey site (https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/home-1) and register for the programme. You can then complete any of the weekly activities that are located on the 'Weekly Activities' page and then blog about them. Each blog is worth points and, at the end of the summer, I will add up your points. The students with the most points from each school will earn prizes.

Are you interested in joining? I hope so! It will be a great way to practice your reading and writing skills before you come back to school in February :)

I'll check your blogspot again later in the week to see if you've taken up the challenge and joined our journey.

    All the best,

    Rachel
